Senate of SOSETH
The Senate brings together people who have made lasting contributions to SOSETH—through service on its board or in other important roles. It makes their knowledge and experience available to today’s organization.
The Senate is constituted as a legally independent association under Articles 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code. It is connected to SOSETH through its purpose, but is not part of the SOSETH board. It may also use the short name S.P.Q.S.
Purpose
- Advise the SOSETH board and offer an experienced, long-term perspective.
- Preserve SOSETH’s history and make institutional knowledge accessible to current members.
- Maintain relationships between current and former members of the SOSETH community.
